Circus starts from below with the colorful entrance to the circus. Inside we see the pyramid builders "The five Rafistas", a Swedish acrobat group, who started working at Henning Orlando in 1936. Then we see beautiful circus horses. Brazil-Jack 1871-1952 his name was Carl Max Alexander Rhodin and he was a very all-round artist. Next the tissue shows us Axel Gautier, born in 1942 a famous elephant trainer in the USA, great great-grandson of elephant owner Jean-Babtist Gautier, who came to Sweden in 1804. The circus-family Rhodin originates from him. Lona Olschansky was one of the few female clowns in the world in the 19th century.Lion is always an exciting feature in the manege and is also in the wave. Elvira Madigan 1867-1889 danced on the wire in the 1880s. Notice the umbrella. In June 1889 she ran away with her lover, the Count Sixten Sparre to Svendborg in Denmark. In July they took their lives on the island of Tåsinge where they also are buried. Charlie Rivel, born in 1896 in Spain was a world famous clown. His "crying", which sounded more like a tug during the performances, made the circus visitors around the world roar of laughter. The next section of the tissue shows a trapize-artist hanging at the hollow of his knees under the circus ceiling. The tissue ends with circus director Francois Bronett (1932-1994). His call, "may I ask for the greatest possible ssssssilence," became a well-known expression when something extra exciting was going on in the manege. Above him, rows of spotlights shine on the arena and the audience as well. The different edgings that recur in the tissue are remindes us of the bright colors of the circus.
