Julljus

Julljus ”Christmas candles” is a very artistic version of the variety of "Gubbatäcke" we have given over the years. Julljus is a brilliant result of the artist's free playful and creative imagination. The weave becomes a mix between a weave rich of  figures and our otherwise descriptive weaves. What has inspired during the work is the desire to create a weave filled with Christmas lights and warmth. With a few lovely shades of red, deep red, burgundy, black-gray-melange, and apricot in which white is woven in together with here and there reinforcing well-placed black elements.With the help of the structure bound rosepath, her wishes with Julljus has become fulfilled.
