Lappland

Mountain avens is a species in the rose family that grows in and high mountain areas. It usually grows in dry, calcareous soil in areas where the snow melts early. The mountain avens is the province flower in Lapland.

Kiruna City Hall was located in central Kiruna and was the seat of the administration of Kiruna Municipality until 2018, The building was demolished in the spring of 2019 due to LKAB's mining.

Ore wagons are the backbone of ore traffic. LKAB's ore wagons are loaded and unloaded while rolling. Unloading takes place with bottom hatches that are operated from the sides.
Cloudberry. From mid-July to mid-August, the cloudberries are ready to be picked in Norrland. The golden berries is also called "Gold of the forest" or "Gold of the North".
