Naturen starts with a mountain hike in the midwinter evening with the northern light flaming in the sky, an open mountain stream that forces the lemmings to swim. To survive the cold of winter the grouse hides in the snowdrifts in the valleys,. The pine cones help many birds survive by giving away nutritious seeds. Then spring arrives with the very first blue anemone and the newly awakened ants begin to appear on sunny days, the valleys fills with wood anemone and the forests are painted white and green in huge sweeps. The brimstones and other insects start fluttering around. Eventually, the first swallows appear in their fast flight.Soon comes the summer flowers, red clover, the green rose chafer seeks food in the dog rose and the blues swarms around the poppy flowers, the bumblebees have busy days among the bluebells. Hiking in nature can give many impressions and experiences. Soon the blueberries is ripe and the crawfish has to beware in the darkwater in August. In September we pick lingonberry, the "red gold", chanterelles, large penny bun and other mushrooms but watch out for the dangerous fly agaric. The leaves fall and form mats on the ground. The roman snail crawls down to sleep his winter sleep, but in streams, rivers, lakes and oceans, the fishes swims around and the seal appears and beckons us.
