The weave contains - from top to bottom. The midnight sun that shines over the mountains and landscapes in the far north. Lapland is represented by antlers of reindeers and by an artfully made spoon from the Sami women.  From Norrbotten we see a whitefish fishing boat, common in Kukkolaforsen. Västerbotten is represented by a typical timber lodge and by a 1500 year old bronze buckle, a so-called fibula in Storkåge. In Ångermanland there is Ulvön where the well-known fermented baltic herring are produced. Ulvöhamn was once Norrland's largest fishing village. The ancient buildings remain. Next we see a shoal of herring. Medelpad has in Borgsjö belfry "the king among wooden towers in the Nordic countries" and in Alnö's new church a medieval wooden  font can be viewed. In Åre's church there is a medieval sculpture of the Saint  Olofs with a real Caroliner hat !!The arctic violet is the province flower of Härjedalen,  if you come to the folk museum Högen in Lillhärdal, you should take a look at the old plate racks. The province flower of Hälsingland is the beautiful flax flower. If you want to see the old beautiful farms in the province with the extra richly decorated porches then visit the “Gnuttfabriken” in Långhed (Ovanåker Municipality). In Gästrikland north of Gävle is Bönan's lighthouse, 150 years old. Dalarna is a living museum. At the farms you will find midsummer poles all year round, richly decorated in the tops with crossed arrows and more. In Värmland you will find another kind of ornaments. In Ekshärad's cemetery you can admire the very artful forged grave ornaments, many with "playing leaves". In Västmanland is Östra Löa, Lindeberg Municipality, Sweden's last but well-preserved miner's cabin, a blast-furnace In Uppland, our journey ends with Drottningholms Slott, built by Queen Hedvig Eleonora.  Nicodemus Tessin d.ä. in 1622 was commissioned to build a castle influeced by French/Dutch models. Now it´s the residenceof the Swedish royal family.
